With all of our courses, training is tailored to your needs and everything is done at your own pace. You’ll never feel pressured to do anything you don’t feel ready for. At Motorcycle Training people we are dedicated to teaching you how to be a responsible, confident rider who, by the end of the course, will be fully equipped with the skills and knowledge for a lifetime’s safe and enjoyable riding!
If you’re training for your Mod 1 test for example, we’ll happily take you to the Test centre to get in as much practice as you need beforehand and give you the skills and confidence to pass your test with flying colours.
We book your test so that the test date/time fits in with your work/home commitments.
Training is available at times to suit you – we’re open 7 days a week and are happy to carry out training outside of normal office hours. No matter how busy your schedule is, we’ll do our best to offer training at times that work for you.
We understand that motorcycle training can be a big financial commitment. To help, you can spread the cost of your training by paying in instalments (at no extra charge). Just chat to us and we’ll happily come up with a plan to suit you.
We have many courses available to give you the training you need, call and talk to Cerys on 02920 814370 so that you can discuss the best options for you.

Success in business is one long road trip – The first thing bikers learn is how to get from one place to another safely and successfully. We start out by selecting the right destination, plotting the best route to that destination. on the way there we are on the look out for the unexpected. We learn how to overcome things like bad weather (the economy), poor road conditions (market fluctuations), or other road users (competitors).
Why not link your skills together and add passion to your passion?

One of the enduring pleasures of this job is to see a rider developing from a CBT to test standard. (nothing worth having is achieved without hard work and thorough preparation) The effort most riders put into achieving a test pass is tangible…….and for me as an instructor, gratifying. Also pleasurable sometimes is to see a rider develop post test, using there licence to satisfy the sense of adventure most of us nurture...
Nothing opens up new horizons quite like a motorcycle.

Observation, Anticipation and Planning are probably my favourite words I use when training new students.
Observation: Well, you can’t do anything unless you have seen it first.
Anticipation: Ask yourself, “What can I reasonably expect to happen with whatever I can see?”
Planning: Make your plan so that you minimise any surprises. I believe riding with this mindset makes you a better rider.

We have great weather at the moment which is giving all our new riders the chance to get some dry riding experience before the rain heads in again soon no doubt. Well done to all our students that have completed their CBT with us over the last weekend. We have more due to the coming weekend too which has required us to do a double course on Saturday. So if you want to do an afternoon CBT, then give us a call and get booked on.

Well, what a lovely day today has turned out to be. We have had another day of CBTs here at our Nantgarw site and finished up early due to really great students. This only means one thing – an afternoon at Aberdare Park Race. I think summer is well and truly on its way.
