Love this review.

Love this review thanks muker.

Hi my name is Sean and I run a Facebook group called L Plate Warriors, through this group I was put on to this training company in order for me to do my Direct Access to get me on two wheels. My first encounter was the day of MOD 1, where I was instructed how to control the bike and manoeuvre it to navigate through the various exercises to pass the test. Tony my instructor, was very clear in what he expected from me and very clear in his training and mentoring which made the learning experience a breeze. Needless to say after a morning with Tony I felt confident in undergoing my test that very afternoon. Needless to say , I passed!

Just under a week later and I am back on one of Tony’s bikes, undergoing MOD 2 Training. Again Tony’s relaxed and confidence boosting manner makes the ride an absolute pleasure as he guides me over the intercom through various roads and traffic conditions. A week to the day after MOD 1 I am back on the bike and Tony is calming my nerves prior to the test. A short spin to ensure I have blown the cobwebs away and some final tips, then next thing you know I am leaving the test centre with my MOD 2 pass !

Tony and Cerys made me feel like a valued customer, especially with how quick they had me back on the bike for MOD 2. The experience has been an absolute pleasure, I will certainly be trusting Motorcycle Training People with not only my continuous progression towards advanced training, but also in the mentoring of my boys who are both looking to do tests albeit on smaller engined bikes.

I can not recommend this company enough! Thank you Tony and Cerys!

Are you eyes up to it?

UK drivers/riders are being urged to test their eyesight after a DVLA survey suggested 50% of motorists are not aware of the minimum standards.

You must be able to read a numberplate from 20m (65ft) away. But the survey found that only 50% of people know this and regularly check as they are legally required to.

CBT in RCT

Posted on 30 October, 2016 at 16:15

What a fantastic bit of weather over the weekend with a fully booked 2 days of cbt's here in nantgarw, cardiff.

We have young and old, non riders with experienced with one fellow not getting up to the level to get his certificate, but with another day of training we are sure he will go away with his certificate in hand.

Thank you for all your support.

Business and biking.

Posted on 4 October, 2016 at 14:00

Success in business is one long road trip – The first thing bikers learn is how to get from one place to another safely and successfully. We start out by selecting the right destination, plotting the best route to that destination. on the way there we are on the look out for the unexpected. We learn how to overcome things like bad weather (the economy), poor road conditions (market fluctuations), or other road users (competitors).

Why not link your skills together and add passion to your passion?

Job satisfaction.

Posted on 18 September, 2016 at 8:35

One of the enduring pleasures of this job is to see a rider developing from a CBT to test standard. (nothing worth having is achieved without hard work and thorough preparation) The effort most riders put into achieving a test pass is tangible…….and for me as an instructor, gratifying. Also pleasurable sometimes is to see a rider develop post test, using there licence to satisfy the sense of adventure most of us nurture...

Nothing opens up new horizons quite like a motorcycle.

Observation, Anticipation and Planning

Posted on 6 September, 2016 at 9:15

Observation, Anticipation and Planning are probably my favourite words I use when training new students.

Observation: Well, you can’t do anything unless you have seen it first.

Anticipation: Ask yourself, “What can I reasonably expect to happen with whatever I can see?”

Planning: Make your plan so that you minimise any surprises. I believe riding with this mindset makes you a better rider.
